When we arrived at this hotel after a very relaxing trip to the Big Island, we could not find parking and met by an apathetic staff. It was so stressful.

Hotel is conveniently located to the beach areas. Congestion and noise were high. Had to walk through area that felt like convenience store to get to lobby. Price of parking in area is extremely high. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Water was off for multiple days due to replacement of water heater on upper floors. I had to ask for room change. Room size was adequate at best. Do not stay here if you want a view of anything other than roof tops or the side of buildings. ...read more

We checked in after midnight and the front desk person was not helpful at all. We called the front desk twice and there was no answer. The staff the following day was very nice and cordial, but the guy working he was horrible. ...read more

Great little hotel. A few blocks from the beach. When we realized there was not enough bath towels, I called the front desk. They sent extras right to the room. Great service. Stayed
on the 9th floor,so street noise was not an issue. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom clean and bright. Highly recommend this place. ...read more

The outer appearance of the hotel was below expectations. Parking is offered at $20 a day. The room was okay, but there were insects found in the room and bathroom and the view from the balcony faced a parking garage. Noise level in the evening is a bit loud. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure and temperature were very low. On one day something happened to the water heater and we had to take cold showers that morning. One of two elevators was broken during our stay, and the gym was not available for use. There is no swimming pool in this hotel. Although the location was convienient, I would not recommend nor stay at this hotel again. ...read more

We changed hotels from a different hotel due to the unfriendly staff and nasty rooms. Changing to the Waikiki Wave was the best thing that happened on our stay and I wish we would have made the change earlier. The staff was fantastic, the rooms were awesome. I would definitely stay there again if in Honolulu. ...read more

The lobby was a bit rundown looking, but the room was fully updated with dark wook furniture, white marble in the bathroom. Shower pressure was pretty weak. We did not have any problems with insects, until our very last 5 minutes in the room when we saw a cockroach. We killed it and advised the staff at check out. They waived the $20/day parking fee without any trouble. ...read more

The hotel is very close to Waikiki Beach but the area of Waikiki seemed a little suspect. The staff was somewhat helpful. The parking garage is difficult to find and cramped. It's a bit older than most other hotels in the area. It wasn't terribly be any means and is a good place to stay if you are wanting to save some money which isn't a bad idea considering how expensive everything else on Oahu is. ...read more

It was an average experience. On the plus side, the rooms were nice and big with 2 queen sized beds, and small balcony overlooking Waikiki city. But there was a hidden cost of $20 per day for parking which caught us by surprise. The hotel rooms seemed clean, yet my girlfriend caught a cockroach in the bathroom on the last day of our stay. When we informed the front desk about it they told us to write to the hotel management. We also expected them to serve breakfast but they directed us to Denny's and IHOP nearby. The location itself although in the center of Waikiki was a bit too noisy with several clubs close by. Part of it maybe our fault for selecting an option of Waikiki city instead of just Waikiki beach or even Diamond Head or North Shore. ...read more
